I will begin with my call to action to reach the heartstrings of many staff members and turn their mindsets to the possibility of yet. After watching the brief video I will introduce the “golden circle” concept presented via video by Simon Sinek. This will allow staff members to hear and see what the golden circle is, how to construct it and how the order of construction makes a big difference in the end results. I will foster collaboration through seating, walk and talk activities, discussion and reflection without focusing on the blame game. Activities will foster collaboration through discussion, reflection and the creation of collectives. As we continue beyond the first session staff members will have the opportunity to choose agenda items that they would like to contribute to as co-leaders with myself as we all collaborate to maximize professional learning. Having many staff members contribute can build a collective that is accessible and assists with professional learning taking place throughout the year.
